Sunday School
St Mary's Indian Orthodox Church of Boston Sunday School caters to students in Kindergarten to Grade 11.
Students from the Sunday School have centralised exams. Every year our students attend the
regional Sunday School talent show and come back with a few prizes.
The Sunday school classes will be conducted every sunday after the Holy Qurbana from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. The time during the common session will be utilized for the following activities.
- Teach the students about the interpretation and symbolism of the various rituals and instruments used in the Holy Qurbana
- Learn new songs
- Train the students in Elocution and Story Telling. For this activity, the students will be divided into two groups. Students in 5th grade and above will be in the Elocution group; students below 5th grade will be in the story telling group.
- Learn and recite bible verses and prayers; practice bible quiz.
